The Constitution of the United States requires that Congress authorize the spending of money. that money is taxpayer dollars, and in order to ensure that the people have a voice as to how their money is being spent, Congress must create a bill and send it to the President before funding can proceed.

Smile On, Lubna

When we talk about smiling at Fairmont, the first person who comes to many people’s minds is Lubna Kabir. She can always be seen smiling at all the students and teachers she sees. Her smiles are also given to those in need. Lubna is a passionate volunteer who has helped from potato packing to teaching in an elementary school.
