The Fairmont Parent Association (FPA) is the official organization of parents, individually and cooperatively, working with the administration in enhancing the educational experience and environment for our children. Our activities make a positive contribution to the quality of the education, student life, and spirit of the Fairmont “community.”
All parents are automatically members of the Parent Association. Each campus has an elected Board which serves to facilitate the activities (including fundraising and social events) sponsored by the Parent Association at their individual campus. Parents are always welcome and encouraged to participate in any event sponsored by the Parent Association.
Through the efforts of the dedicated parents who serve as Board members and the extremely generous parents who participate in our fundraisers, the FPA has made many wonderful contributions to each of the Fairmont campuses including but not limited to science lab equipment and enhancements, library books, Accelerated Reader software, classroom computers and projectors, mobile computer labs, musical instruments, playground equipment, stage sound systems, large screen projectors, Accelerated Math software, and the “Classroom of the Future” technology labs.
