Come be a Husky for the day! The best way for a prospective 7th and 6th grade students to learn about Fairmont Preparatory Academy is in person through our shadow day.
Each prospective student will get a first-hand look into a typical day at our school. They will tour the campus, attend classes with a Fairmont Student Ambassador, eat lunch with new friends and get the chance to meet teachers and ask any questions. They will meet with the Admissions Director or Academic Counselor who will talk with them about high school, get to know them and answer any questions they still may have.
Shadow Days are free and available for all students whether they have applied to the school or not. They run from the end of September until Mid- March. Shadow days are not available during the month of April and May due to testing and finals.
Shadow Day is a required step in the application process however, if a student is not able to participate in a shadow day, they must arrange a student interview.
